Camila Lastrilla-Curto

Camila Lastrilla Curto is a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Equestrian Association of the Philippines, with a career that bridges elite competition, athlete development, and highperformance sports management. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science (High Honors) with an equine specialization from the University of California, Davis, and an MBA (Magna Cum Laude, Valedictorian) from IPMI International Business School, with earlier studies in pre-veterinary medicine. She has served as an FEI Level 1 Jumping Judge since 2023 and is on track to attain her Level 2 certification before the end of 2026.

She began riding at the age of eight under Janine Felix of Team Equisport, laying the foundation for an international competitive career representing the Philippines. She earned multiple podiumv finishes in CSI competitions on borrowed horses and was a member of the Philippine Jumping Team at the 2013 Southeast Asian Games. At UC Davis, she competed on the Hunter Jumper Team while also serving as a barn supervisor and riding instructor, further developing her technical expertise and leadership in a high-performance environment.

Transitioning into leadership, Camila has played a key role in advancing equestrian and polo sport in the region. She was Competition Manager for the polo events at the 2019 Southeast
Asian Games, overseeing multi-million peso operations and coordinating with the Federation of International Polo, Philippine Olympic Committee, and Philippine Sports Commission. She later served as Executive Director and now Secretary General of the Philippine National Federation of Polo Players, and as Team Manager of the Philippine Polo Team at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games in Bangkok, Thailand. She continues to coach Philippine teams in CSI competitions and serves as a riding instructor at Los Tamaraos Riding School, bringing a disciplined, resultsdriven approach to elevating standards in competition, horse welfare, and sports administration.
